The designing architect of the world's first 1-kilometer large skyscraper is nothing other than Adrian Smith, from Adrian Jones + Gordon Gill Architecture. Jones was also the designer of the world's current tallest building, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and he is, generally, known for his rising systems in the US, South Korea, and China.
The idea with this architectural marvel in Jeddah was not enthusiastically obtained all the way extended, as some Saudis contemplate the possibility so it might have an adverse financial influence on the kingdom. With a budget approaching $2 billion, their starting day was sent till 2020 due to difficult economic situations in the country.
